Porsche 996TT 70mm Hi-Flow Exhaust

After evaluating many of the leading exhaust systems and experiencing sound that was either too loud or too quiet,
resonance that was very Intrusive, poor tone, inferior fit, etc. - we designed our own 996TT exhaust that addressed all of these issues in a positive manner. The Automotive Speed Technologies 996TT exhaust was engineered to have a rich, deep tone in the lower RPM’s and a pronounced flat six note at higher RPM’s. Substantial horsepower and torque gains, along with improved throttle response are achieved with the free Flowing, unrestrictive 70mm design. This very desirable combination of attributes results in a perfect blend of sound, power and performance!

70 mm tubing is utilized throughout, including the outlet pipes (unlike some other designs), which reduces back pressure and enables quick turbo response. Our tubing is approximately 10 mm or 3/8” larger than the OEM exhaust tubing used, therefore, we supply our own larger X51 style tips (stock tips are too small and will not fit the 70mm tubing). This very efficient design is easy to install and saves approximately 20 pounds of weight as compared to the Porsche OEM exhaust, too. The Speedtech 996TT exhaust will improve the sound and performance of a stock 996TT or a highly modified twin turbo. Increased torque and horsepower, faster track and ¼ mile times, better everyday performance and a more pronounced engine note will provide an
enhanced driving experience for all types of uses. Dyno
results of this exhaust, as tested on a K16/16G equipped 996tt have demonstrated HP and torque gains beginning at 2,200 rpm’s, quickly reaching a steady increase of 25 AWHP for most of the RPM band and culminating with a 40 AWHP gain from 6,200 RPM’s to redline. Extremely high quality

Optional “Quiet” Sound Inserts for SpeedTech 996TT Exhaust

Optional removable insert to reduce sound. Installs at rear pipe (requires removal of tips) and lowers cabin volume of exhaust. Can be removed and re-used at any time. With this option you can have a quieter exhaust during the week and increase the volume for weekends, rallys, track days, etc.
